CWU Humanitarian Aid Appeal

Over the last few months we all have seen the harrowing images of refugees attempting to escape the war that is raging in their country, with many of them drowning during attempts to reach safety with their families.

Upon reaching Europe many have found themselves in further difficulty as countries across Europe struggle to react to the sheer number of people seeking help.

With the assistance of Royal Mail and BT, the CWU and its charity CWUHA, are responding to the crisis. They are working in partnership with the International Trade Union Confederation and Social Crisis Commando in an attempt to show compassion to those people who have had to flee their homes by delivering aid to displaced people in Hungary and Turkey.

CWUHA volunteers will be leaving the UK late October early November.
